Have you ever wanted to be an angel?
A lifesaver?
Learning first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) may be just what you need to be that angel. Heart attacks, strokes, or convulsions have a way of sneaking up on us without warning. Each passing minute after collapsing from a Cardiac Arrest can reduce the chance of survival by as much as 10% so knowing what to do is critical. Even if we want to intervene to reduce the effect of a burn, fracture, or allergic reaction, you need to know what to do. Knowing first aid and CPR will place you in a position where you can take responsible, appropriate action in an emergency.
Toronto EMS provides a variety of quality First Aid, CPR/AED (cardiopulmonary resuscitation/defibrillation) and Emergency First Responder courses. Plus, our very own Toronto EMS First Aid/CPR Instructor/Vendor program. All Toronto EMS First Aid programs are WSIB approved and follow the new international CPR guidelines.
We offer our training programs at a variety of locations by certified instructors. Toronto EMS will arrange for an instructor to visit your worksite or specified location for your convenience. For more information call Toronto EMS at 416-392-9833 or email us at emscpr@toronto.ca.
