The Richard Boustead Foundation for Children's Charities

The Richard Boustead Foundation for Children's Charities exists to develop and implement innovative concepts that generate funds for the benefit of children's charities.

The purpose of the Foundation is to contribute financial resources to selected non-profit organizations that effectively serve and benefit children with an emphasis on health, education, and inner city services.

Richard was truly a great humanitarian, who spent 25 years as a paramedic with Toronto EMS. That, in itself dictates that he was a hero. But it was his last few years as the Supervisor of Media Relations that really allowed Rick to prove his ability to benefit the community. He leveraged the privileges of his office to not only raise public awareness of the contributions that EMS makes to the community, but also to directly influence a number of programs that benefited the City of Toronto, its citizens and most importantly its children.
