The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) of Canada, Inc., along with APCO Australasia, British APCO, and APCO International jointly announced today they will sign a new collaborative agreement called the APCO Global Alliance for Cooperation and Development. The signing will occur at the CN Tower on Monday, October 2 at 1 p.m.
Date: Monday, October 2
Time: 1:15 p.m.
Place: Top of the CN Tower, 301 Front St. W.
The purpose of the APCO Global Alliance for Cooperation and Development is to align the four independent APCO organizations to promote the sharing of information, experiences, ideas and best practices. In addition, the APCO Global Alliance for Cooperation and Development will encourage the development of organizations that share the common purpose, and promote the same values and goals in other nations of the world.
“The global APCO family will finally realize what we have been collectively working towards for a very long time and we are particularly pleased that the fruition of this work will be seen here in Toronto,” said Dave Ralph, APCO Canada President. “We look forward to the results of this new level of collaboration making the world a safer place for those in need of emergency service intervention.”
