The Toronto Paramedic Association together with Toronto Emergency Medical Services staff collected and delivered over 18,000 pounds of food to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Led by Tony Butera, Toronto EMS/TPA volunteers delivered the donations picked up at 13 ambulance stations across the city. Thanks to corporate donations and generous EMS staff, this delivery exceeds the 2008 total by over 1,000 pounds! This was enough food to fill 2 ambulances and a Toronto EMS patient bus.

A big thanks to all the volunteers and to those who made such generous donations.
