Share A Cup 2009
Handover Ceremony

Toronto Emergency Medical Services, EMS Services across Canada, and Canadian citizens donated over 5,000 Tim Hortons $10.00 gift cards to Canadian forces personnel serving overseas.

Toronto EMS Chief Bruce Farr presented the cards to Colonel Stephen Cadden, along with representatives from the EMS Chiefs of Canada, Chief John Cunnane from Niagara, Chief Greg Sage from Halton and staff from Rama EMS, Miss Martel’s grade 8 class from Beverley Heights Middle School and Mr. Kastner's class from Weston Memorial Junior Public School.

Colonel Cadden said, “Canadian Forces men and women are tough, they don’t cry, but the wind of 100 days that blows in Afghanistan during this time of year may cause a few tears in the troops eyes when they read these good wishes.”

Canadians can continue to support the “Share A Cup With A Brave Canuck!” challenge by sending their $10.00 Tim Hortons gift certificates to the Share a cup website, or send mail to:
